Bold Prediction No. 6: Jalon Daniels will be the Big 12’s leading Heisman finalist

While most sites do not even list Jalon as a top 10 candidate for the Heisman Trophy, I firmly believe he will be in the conversation for the award if he can stay on the field each game. He is as effective as any other quarterback in the country when he is on his A-game.

Big 12 coaches share this same sentiment, as they voted him the conference preseason Player of the Year a month ago. He continues to receive recognition on a national scale, and a few more significant strides this season could put him in the conversation to get drafted to the NFL.
