Bold Prediction No. 5: Lawrence Arnold becomes the first Jayhawk to eclipse 1,000 receiving yards since Dezmon Briscoe

I understand this clashes with my previous prediction of KU finishing top 20 in rushing. But as I mentioned before, I’m not expecting everything to become true — one of them should be accomplished.

Considering only six players in Kansas football history have achieved this feat, it seems like a long shot for Arnold to be the seventh. However, the redshirt junior is a big play threat who recorded 100+ yards three times last season. He finished with 716 yards on just 44 receptions in 2022. His connection with Jalon Daniels on deep balls should allow him to rack up yards fairly quickly.
