The 2023 Kansas football season is chock full of potential outcomes, so we made six bold predictions for the Jayhawks this year.

We are less than a week from the Kansas Jayhawks season opener. Expectations are towering for Lance Leipold’s group ahead of the program’s most highly anticipated KU football season for the better part of a decade.

Kansas has both an extremely high ceiling and an extremely low floor, so plenty of scenarios are on the table for 2023. While the offense is as talented as anyone else’s in the Big 12, the Jayhawks had the conference’s worst defense a year ago and have major question marks on the D-line.

That being said, fans should be content with the newfound culture that Coach Leipold has formed in Lawrence. After suffering years of anguish on the gridiron, hope has finally been restored, and the college football world is taking notice.

We assembled a list of six bold predictions for Kansas football. Not all of these will come to fruition, but they are absolutely achievable if KU can put it all together quickly.
