Game 12 at Cincinnati Bearcats

Kansas football travels to Cincinnati to end the season. The Bearcats are two years removed from making the College Football Playoff. Last season the Bearcats finished 9-4, including a loss in the Wasabi Fenway Bowl against Louisville. The offseason was a bit of a nightmare for Cincinnati as they lost their superstar coach Luke Fickell to the Wisconsin Badgers.

Cincinnati decided to hire Scott Satterfield from Louisville, which is a big downgrade. I wouldn’t expect the Bearcats to be very good at all this season, but Kansas is playing them at home, which won’t be very easy.

There is a very real chance the Jayhawks come in flat to this game, considering what I am predicting as an upset over Kansas State for the first time in 14 years. I think Kansas is a lot better than Cincinnati, but the hangover from the biggest win in 14 years will keep the Jayhawks from going 8-4.

My Prediction:

Cincinnati wins 31-27 over Kansas

Kansas Football Record: 7-5
