Billy Richmond

Billy Richmond is a new name that Jayhawk fans should get familiar with. He is a 6-foot-5, 200-pound wing from Memphis, Tennessee, but he attends high school in Camden, New Jersey. Richmond is ranked as the No. 34 player on the 247 Sports Composite rankings.

Kansas made Richmond’s top eight schools list that he released on Twitter yesterday. He has an official visit to Kansas basketball scheduled from Oct. 6-8. It is worth noting that Late Night In The Phog is on Oct. 6.

Those three guys are the most serious options for Kansas right now, and I would expect the Jayhawks to be major players in all of their recruitments. If I had to rank these three in order from most likely to commit to least likely, it would look something like this: Stephen, Bethea, and then Richmond. However, KU is still in the running for several others players, and you can view each of the recruits they’ve been in contact with by clicking here.
