Emmanuel Stephen

Emmanuel Stephen will take an official visit to Lawrence shortly after Bethea from Sept. 5-8. Stephen, a 7-foot, 215-pound center from Glendale, Arizona, is rated as the No. 104 player on the 247 Sports Composite rankings. Stephen is a defense-first center prospect who has the reputation of being a great shot-blocker and rebounder.

The plan for KU’s 2024 high school recruiting class is to take two centers with the expectation that Hunter Dickinson would only play one season at Kansas. The Jayhawks are in a good position to achieve that plan, and I think they can accomplish that by landing Stephen.
