Flory Bidunga’s commitment was a pleasant surprise to Kansas basketball fans. What’s next for Bill Self and the Jayhawks on the recruiting trail?

The Kansas Jayhawks landed 5-star center Flory Bidunga late Saturday night over Auburn and Duke. It was a somewhat unexpected decision from him, considering what was being reported by recruiting insiders leading up to yesterday, but Bill Self and KU ultimately prevailed.

The Kokomo High School student and Congo native was the Jayhawks’ first pledge of the 2024 class. However, there are still several months left until National Signing Day, and Kansas is still in pursuit of many other top-tier recruits.

Kansas basketball is keeping close tabs on these three high schoolers in the Class of 2024.
