8. Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk (2014-2018)

Kansas basketball career 3-point shooting stats: 237-539, 40.9%, 1.7 3PM

The development of “Svi” was certainly a treat for Kansas fans to watch. Following a freshman season that saw him shoot sub-.300 from long-range, Mykhailiuk sunk an average of 74 threes per year to finish off his Jayhawk career.

No player has surpassed his 115 3-pointers made in 2017-18 in a single season, a record he swiped from a player who will later be mentioned here. Additionally, he hit 2.9 threes per game that year on 6.6 attempts

His game-tying shot against Duke in the Elite Eight single-handedly sent the Jayhawks to the Final Four. He is, without question, of the greatest catch-and-shoot players to take the floor in Allen Fieldhouse, and is still competing in the NBA with the Charlotte Hornets.
