1. Jeff Boschee (1998-2002)

Kansas basketball career 3-point shooting stats: 338-843, 40.1%, 2.5 3PM

Jeff Boschee is the king of the trifecta. Fans knew he would be KU’s best shooter of all time the second he stepped onto the court for the first time. He is the only player to average more than two made 3-pointers per game in each of his seasons at Kansas.

When it seemed as though he couldn’t improve anymore, Boschee continued to wow as a senior. His 46.4% 3-point percentage was a career-high, sinking a trio of treys per game on 6.4 attempts. He also shot 41.5% from beyond the arc as a sophomore.

It would almost seem repetitious to name all the 3-point records he garnered with the Jayhawks, but we’ll go over the most important ones. No Kansas player has ever sunk more threes than Boschee (338). Up until 2023, he was the freshman 3-point leader. Although many of his records will dissipate as the game of basketball continues to evolve, it’s hard to envision a future where Boschee isn’t the best shooter in KU basketball history.
