EDGE Dylan Brooks

A former 4-star recruit and redshirt sophomore who transferred from Auburn to Kansas during portal season, Brooks is viewed as a project player for the Jayhawks. He recorded six tackles and one sack for the Tigers in 2022.

Kansas will need several players to step up after losing Lonnie Phelps to the NFL and Malcolm Lee, Sam Burt, and Caleb Sampson to graduation. It will be a completely revamped group, as Brooks could be at the forefront of it as a late-down pass rusher. Jereme Robinson must also have a strong year.

He likely won’t contribute much early on but could become a crucial piece to the D-line in the latter stages of the season. By the time the next season arrives, Brooks could establish himself as a keystone off the edge for the Jayhawks.
