Steven Sims Jr. — Houston Texans

Sims, arguably a top 3 wideout in Kansas football history, has become a jack of all trades in the NFL. He’s used as a return man, in trick plays, and sparingly as a slot receiver. The Steelers decided not to bring him back after he spent two years in Pittsburgh.

Houston lists him as the No. 7 wide receiver on their depth chart, but there is still a chance he makes the final roster. Many teams like to keep a Swiss army knife-type player on the team, a role that Sims plays perfectly. Perhaps we will see him catch a few passes from rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud.
