No. 10: Chandler Morris – TCU
Morris’ loss ended up being TCU’s gain last season. Max Duggan took over for an injured Morris and led the Horned Frogs all the way to the national championship game, picking up a Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year Award and a Heisman Trophy finalist nod along the way. Now it’s time for Morris to write his own story.
While we haven’t seen much from Morris going into the season, he was the week one starter over Duggan last year before his injury. If Morris actually is better than Duggan, then he is WAY too low on this list. However, I think TCU caught lightning in a bottle last season, and Morris is likely just an above average quarterback in one of the best conferences in the country.
