No. 13: Garrett Greene – West Virginia

Barring something unexpected happening from now until week one, Greene will be one of just two Big 12 football starting quarterbacks who haven’t started a game prior to this season. That means there is little to go off of for predicting what his 2023 will look like.

What we did see from him in 2022 wasn’t all that encouraging for a solid performance this year. He threw more than five passes in just three games, all of which were partial games. In those games, he completed just 56% of his passes and had just one more touchdown than interceptions (four to three).

With the Mountaineers losing their top four pass catchers from last season, it could be a rough year for the passing game in Morgantown.
