Cause for Concern No. 2: Careless turnovers

Kansas had 16 turnovers in game one, 22 turnovers in game two, and 16 turnovers in game three. While those aren’t egregious numbers, they certainly don’t make you optimistic.

Perhaps these careless turnovers will be limited once the season begins. Still, it is a cause for concern when your starting senior point guard posts 11 turnovers across three games.

The Jayhawks will need to take care of the ball much better down the stretch. It was a learning experience for all players, especially Elmarko Jackson, who made some questionable decisions with the ball in the rematch against the Bahamian team.
