Thing to Like No. 2: Big man playmaking

This roster has extremely versatile big men. You can tell that KJ Adams put lots of work in during the offseason because, excluding a poor game-three performance, he looked terrific on the floor. He is embracing his point-forward role as a player who can put the ball on the floor and create open shots for his teammates.

As I mentioned earlier, Dickinson looked very coordinated on the floor. That included when he attracted double teams, and he was able to pass out of them. Most guys his height would immediately fold and cough up the ball, but the Michigan transfer has terrific court vision.

Even Parker Braun, who won’t have the most extensive role, is a crafty distributor. Knowing that non-guards can serve as playmakers adds yet another creative facet to the team.
