Deandre Ayton

Ayton recently signed a 4-year, $133 million extension with the Phoenix Suns, but he could play for the Bahamian National Team before his new contract commences.

The No. 1 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, Ayton was a terrific player at Arizona. He was the starting center for Phoenix when they reached the NBA Finals in 2021 and has averaged a 14+ point double-double in each of his five NBA seasons.

Like Hield, Ayton was born in the Bahamas. There has been no word regarding if he is in the area, but he will be a tough challenge for Michigan transfer Hunter Dickinson if the two centers match up with one another.
