5. Guard play will be the biggest strength

KU has a guard room made up of Harris, Morris, Jackson, Timberlake, and Jamari McDowell. That is a pretty stacked group. There are facilitators, shooters, and elite athletes that Bill Self can place at the 1 or 2 spots.

I’m not feeling all too confident with the current state of wing or big man depth. Braun is the only projected non-starter who stands above 6-foot-4. However, there won’t be much to worry about with the Jayhawks’ guard play. Adding another player via the transfer portal would solve (most) questions about the team’s depth.
