Kansas football: Michael Boganowski finishes his second visit to KU campus
Where does Kansas football stand in the race for Boganowski?
As of right now, things look a LOT better than they did a month ago. In June, a K-State insider published a crystal ball in favor of the Wildcats with a confidence level of 5. Now, it seems that KSU’s faith in landing him has weakened significantly.
Boganowski was on campus a day before preseason camp began. That means that he was likely able to see everything in action on the practice fields. He’s a hot commodity in the state, so players surely tried to attract him to join the program.
Yesterday was the final day KU could hold visits because their camp begins today, Aug. 1. Being that he canceled his visit to KU and still found a way to make it to Lawrence, that seems like something that would bode well for the Jayhawks’ chances. If anything, it means that he still hasn’t decided yet, as he wouldn’t have gone out of his way just to make a courtesy visit for a school he wasn’t taking into consideration.
By no means is Kansas football the favorite, but they’re not far off from the two other candidates. Fans should be relatively happy with his stance with the Jayhawks in regards to where they were.
