The NCAA released a half dozen new rule changes for the 2023 season. Find out which aspects of the game have been modified for Kansas football and other schools.

While there are usually no drastic college football rule changes over the offseason, the NCAA is constantly trying to make the pace of games quicker in hopes of improving viewability.

The Kansas Jayhawks are a run-and-gun type team with some of the most electric offensive players in the nation. They play a very back-and-forth game. But even so, these regulations will affect them and every other school in the Big 12 Conference.

Similar to what the MLB did this past year with the pitch clock, there have been new college football rule changes implemented to make games shorter with fewer unnecessary stoppages. Without further adieu, let’s look into each of the six modifications the NCAA finalized.
