3. The development of KJ Adams

In a recent interview, Nick Timberlake said KJ was hitting mid-range jumpers consistently and has a much more diverse offensive game. It would be great news for KU if Adams can extend his range to the perimeter.

With a true center now on the roster, KJ has a less clear role on the team. He could stay in the low post or behind the 3-point line. His ball-handling skills could also improve so he can serve as a point forward at times. The Puerto Rico games will give him a chance to find his niche.
