2. It’s a rematch of the 2022 national championship game

The Tar Heels are out for revenge after Kansas narrowly defeated them in the 2022 national championship game. Head coach Bill Self won his second title as Jayhawks head coach and Ochai Agbaji was named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player.

Even if a pair of regular season matchups won’t get UNC even with Kansas, Hubert Davis and company would like to make a statement with a win at Allen Fieldhouse. UNC massively underachieved this past season, missing the NCAA Tournament for the first time in over a decade. What better way is there to put themselves back on the map than winning a game at the greatest homecourt in the NCAA?
