Interior Linemen

Returning Players:

Mike Novitsky
Dominick Puni
Michael Ford Jr
Ar’maj Reed-Adams
Dre Doiron
Joe Krause
Nolan Gorczyca

Newcomers:

Spencer Lovell (California)

As is the case for most schools, the question of how the front five will be assembled is one of the most pressing during the offseason. The only two players that are considered locks to start are Mike Novitsky and Dominick Puni, a pair of every-down linemen from last year. Besides them, everything is up in the air. There have been rumors that Puni could slide over to the left tackle spot, considering he’s the most proven player in the group, and Novitsky is set in stone as the snapper. If that is the case, Ford Jr. and Lovell — a transfer from Cal — could see time at offensive guard. Reed-Adams has seen snaps in the past, but I’m not too sure if the staff is confident enough to start him in week one. Everyone should look out to see where Puni starts in the opener.
