Wide receiver play is not Kansas football’s strong suit, but they have several guys who can get the job done. Luke Grimm, a slot receiver from Missouri, led the team in receptions and receiving touchdowns last season. He formed a strong bond with both quarterbacks in 2022, serving as a reliable checkdown option. Arnold and Skinner are deep threats, as both averaged over 16 yards per catch. The 6-foot-5 Skinner could come into his own this year, as he has all the physical tools to be a star. A few other wideouts could emerge as contributors, but the offense’s success is largely predicated on timely throws from the quarterback and running the correct routes.
