Key No. 2: Come out firing early

Mass Street came out of the gates slow and discombobulated in the round of 64. Although they were able to pull off an electric comeback, they might not be able to dig themselves out of another hole against the Show Me Squad.

KU’s veterans will need to keep up the pace early in the contest, matching the energy of Mizzou’s youngsters. They scored 96 points in their debut, so there is clearly plenty of offensive firepower to be reckoned with. Kansas must come out firing on all cylinders.
