Flory Bidunga, one of the most electrifying talents in the Class of 2024, included Kansas basketball in his final list of schools.

The Kansas Jayhawks are still without a verbal commitment in their 2024 recruiting class, but that could change if premier prospect Flory Bidunga chooses to play in Allen Fieldhouse.

Bidunga, a native of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, has matured into one of the best recruits in the country. He is ranked No. 4 overall in the 247 Sports Composite and on Rivals, including the top-ranked center and Indiana-based player.

Many schools have been linked with Bidunga throughout the process, but he released his final four list yesterday. Fortunately for the Jayhawks, KU was included.

He’ll be choosing between Kansas, Auburn, Duke, and Michigan. A decision could be finalized as early as the end of summer, though he has not set a commitment date yet.

He attends Kokomo High School, and some recruiting analysts believed he might stay local to attend Indiana or Big 12 newcomer Cincinnati. However, the Hoosiers and Bearcats did not even make the final cut.

Ant Wright noted on Twitter that Kansas is the only Adidas school remaining on his list. Michigan and Duke are some of the most prominent Nike schools, while Auburn is sponsored by Under Armour.

Bidunga took an official visit to Lawrence on May 12, subsequently scheduling one with Duke a month later. He’d become the third most highly touted recruit to ever commit to Kansas since websites began tracking high schoolers.

Michael Swain of 247 Sports wrote that he was feeling semi-confident in Kansas’ chances to land Bidunga.

It seems to be a two-man race between KU and Duke, as U of M and Auburn are considered long shots. Outbidding Jon Scheyer and the Blue Devils won’t be an easy task, but the Jayhawks have a fair shot in this feud.
