Chris Carter (Cal State Northridge)

Carter, like Cross, will be one of the walk-ons during the 2023-24 season. Aside from highlight reels with fancy in-game dunks, we don’t know too much about Carter. But as we wrote last month, he doesn’t seem like your ordinary PWO.

It’s safe to say Carter won’t get many — if any — minutes as a Jayhawk in his freshman year. He’s coming off a redshirt season at Cal State Northridge, so he’s technically never taken the floor in a college basketball game. He’s viewed as more of a project player, and the hope is that he can obtain a scholarship if his game grows enough.

Player Grade: B+
