Justin Cross (John A. Logan College)

Cross is coming into KU as a walk-on with an abundance of potential. He is primarily on this team due to his height and athleticism. If the Jayhawks are in foul trouble, expect Cross to be the guy to step in — especially in early season matchups against weaker opponents.

A 6-foot-8 forward who recently won a championship at his JUCO, there was no harm to add him to the team. If anything, he’ll be a competitive practice player that can help other players get reps. But he can also fill in for emergency help if push comes to shove.

Player Grade: B-
