Parker Braun (Santa Clara)

If you missed seeing Christian Braun on the floor for the Jayhawks during every game, you’re probably not going to see a similar player in his older brother Parker.

He spent two years at Mizzou and Santa Clara. Now, he will be taking his talents to Lawrence, the same city where his brother brought a national championship.

His role will be to step up when needed and provide efficient minutes off the bench. He is probably very excited to get the opportunity to follow in his brother’s footsteps.

Parker could provide a spark off the bench for the Jayhawks this upcoming season, even though he’s not the ideal backup center for the projected preseason No. 1 team. There have been questions about his defense and decision-making. Still, he has potential offensively and an underrated passing ability. Kansas might have been able to receive an upgrade over him, but as long as he’s not a liability on the floor, it should not be an issue.
