Hunter Dickinson (Michigan)

The cream of the crop in this transfer class is undoubtedly Michigan transfer and Kansas senior Hunter Dickinson. The 7-foot-1 big man is going to thrive under Bill Self in the crimson and blue.

Last season, Dickinson averaged 18.5 points, 9 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game. He also shot 56% on field goals. He is a threat inside the paint while also having the ability to knock down shots from the perimeter.

He should be one of the most critical pieces to their roster this season and arguably a top-five player to ever take the floor for a Bill Self-led Kansas team. Dickinson will be in the conversation to win the Wooden Award and several other prestigious honors.

Although the saga to acquire him was frustrating for Kansas basketball fans, it was worth it in the end. There’s no other possible grade than this pickup unless you moved it to A++.

Player Grade: A+
