Kansas football: Five questions that should be asked during Big 12 Media Days

Question No. 4, directed to Lance Leipold:

Which players do you expect to emerge as surprise contributors?

This seems like a pretty broad question, but when your team is returning 17 of its 22 starters from a year ago, it really isn’t. Kansas football fans have a general sense of where most of the offensive and defensive production will come from, so it’d be interesting to see who Coach Leipold believes could have a breakout season.

KU brought in a strong transfer portal class this offseason. There will be plenty of unfamiliar names to learn for Jayhawks fans. Perhaps Lance could give us a sneak peek of what is to come.
