Hunter Dickinson — Win National Player of the Year

It’s the most elevated expectation on this list — after all, there is no greater achievement than being the best player in the sport — but it is certainly achievable. Although Dickinson did not even win Big Ten Player of the Year at Michigan, we can chalk that up to him not having a Hall of Fame head coach under his wing.

Forget what happened in the past. Dickinson is expected to be, by far, the best player on the best team in the country. He could average a 20-point double-double if he’s as dominant as fans think he will be. The sky is the limit for what Dickinson can do with one of the nation’s best playmakers and a much stronger supporting cast than he had at UMich.

By no means will it come easy for him, especially with Purdue returning the reigning NPOY in Zach Edey. However, Dickinson is in a perfect spot to excel in his role, and his game could be taken to new heights when he dons the crimson and blue.
