Point Guard — Dajuan Harris

This pick is a gimme. There is no other answer for the point guard position besides Harris. He serves as the offense’s quarterback and is coming off a season where he won Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year. Harris started all 36 games last season, and that shouldn’t change this year.

We talked about how he could be in the conversation for the Bob Cousy Award if he continues to improve in 2023-24. Although he is not the most flashy player, Harris does all the little things that contribute to the team’s success. Whether it be diving for loose balls or creating open shots for his teammates, he is the perfect player for any head coach.
