Kansas football is sending out four of its best players to the annual Big 12 Media Days that are slated for July 12-13.

Four Kansas Jayhawks standouts will represent the university at the Big 12 Media Days later this summer. Head coach Lance Leipold will arrive with his team to provide an outlook for the upcoming season and answer any unaddressed questions.

Jalon Daniels, Devin Neal, Rich Miller, and Kenny Logan Jr. will be KU’s attendees. All 14 Big 12 schools are sending four or five of their guys as representatives. In 2022, Kansas football sent the same group except for Rich Miller, as now-NFL player Earl Bostick Jr. went instead.

Daniels, one of the nation’s most electric quarterbacks, led Kansas to its first bowl game in 14 seasons and was even considered for the Heisman Trophy early in the year. He battled several injuries throughout the course of the season but threw for 2,014 yards and 18 touchdowns, also totaling seven scores on the ground.

Neal put himself on the map in 2022, forming an elite quarterback-running back tandem with Daniels. After a tremendous freshman year, he ran for 1,090 yards and nine touchdowns as a sophomore. He’ll look to build on his success as an upperclassman for Kansas, mentoring fellow tailback Daniel Hishaw on the way.

Miller is entering his fifth and final season of college football and has high expectations for his super senior campaign. He’s one of the best open-field tacklers in the conference and offers versatility to the Kansas defense. Last season, he recorded 94 tackles and intercepted a pass. Miller was one of many transfers from Buffalo after Lance Leipold signed as KU’s head coach.

Logan was the leader of last year’s defensive unit and will once again be handed that task. The former cornerback led the NCAA in total tackles at the safety position as a junior and continued his strong play last year. He’s arguably a top-five deep safety in the country, and fans should expect another strong season from him.

Each of these players will discuss their performances during spring practices and what they look forward to most for the season in the two-day event. Kansas football is sending out a group of fine young men with bright futures.
