Could Kansas basketball be in the mix for the Boozer twins, one of the most highly touted brother duos in high school basketball history?

The last time the Kansas Jayhawks received a commitment from the No. 1 player in his high school class was by Josh Jackson in 2016. Perhaps the same thing could take place with the No. 1 prospect in 2025.

Cameron and Cayden Boozer, the sons of NCAA Champion Carlos Boozer, have been considered Duke locks for quite some time. Their father was a terrific player for the Blue Devils in the early 2000s. Considering he named his offspring after Duke’s home arena — Cameron Indoor Stadium — it might seem like a long shot for any other schools to have a chance in their recruitment.

However, Cameron cryptically posted the Jayhawks logo on his Instagram page, signaling that a KU offer might be in the works. He is the No. 1 ranked player in the Class of 2025 on 247 Sports, and there’s no doubt he will be an NBA player one day.

His brother, Cayden, has racked up an almost identical offer sheet. Does that mean they are committing together? We don’t know yet. But Kansas would love to reel him in, too, as he is a fellow 5-star recruit. Cayden is the No. 20 ranked player in the Class of 2025.

Cameron went into detail about Kansas to 247 Sports:

"“They are starting to recruit us. It was our first time talking, so trying to get to know them and get used to the school, but I am very interested in them, as well.”"

There is mutual interest between both parties, so an official visit could be scheduled in the near future. Neither twin has not visited any school yet or picked up a commitment prediction, so it’s possible that his recruitment could be more up for grabs than imagined. Regardless, there is a good chance that the Boozer bros announce that they’ve received an offer from Kansas soon.
