WR Nick Marsh — No. 102 ranked player, No. 16 ranked wide receiver

Commitment Date: July 7

Marsh, a tall and physical wideout, is a top-60 player on Rivals. He’d be the most highly touted player in the history of the 247 Sports Composite to ever commit to Kansas. Ultimately, where the other guys commit doesn’t matter too much if the Jayhawks can reel Marsh in.

I’m immediately crossing out Pitt and Oregon, as neither school has gained much traction in his recruitment. This should be viewed as a three-man race, although it’s challenging to say who is winning it right now.

Michigan State is doing its best to bring him back after he decommitted from their program earlier this year. They only have one wide receiver commit in their 2024 class, so the fit is definitely there. Meanwhile, Penn State already has three, but we know the Nittany Lions never stop recruiting premier talent.

It would be awesome to see Marsh commit to Kansas — I truly hope he does. But with Jalon Daniels potentially heading to the NFL after this season and an opportunity to attend a Big Ten football powerhouse, I don’t see it happening.

Prediction — Penn State
