We evaluated the team fit for each former Kansas basketball player selected in the NBA Draft — Gradey Dick and Jalen Wilson.
Going into yesterday, there were a total of 85 Kansas Jayhawks to ever be selected in the NBA Draft. Two players were added to that list when KU stars Gradey Dick and Jalen Wilson were selected No. 13 and No. 51, respectively.
Wilson was the better college player, winning Big 12 Player of the Year and being named a Consensus First Team All-American as a junior. However, Dick wowed scouts with his lengthy frame and outside shooting ability. Those qualities landed him a lottery selection.
Dick will begin his rookie season for the Toronto Raptors, whereas Wilson will fight for a roster spot on the Brooklyn Nets. Both teams got great value for these two Jayhawks, so we decided to analyze how well they fit onto the current roster.
