Former Kansas basketball star Christian Braun goes viral for hysterical NBA Finals celebrations
The Denver Nuggets celebrated their franchise’s first ever NBA Finals victory, and no player was more enthusiastic to be there than Christian Braun.
Christian Braun can’t and won’t stop winning. The former Kansas Jayhawks star and 2022 National Champion joined rare company when he became the fifth player in NBA history to win consecutive NCAA and NBA championships, joining the likes of Magic Johnson and Bill Russell with the impressive feat.
To make it even more impressive, he came out victorious in three consecutive high school state championships, meaning this is the fifth time he’s won a major basketball championship.
During the 2022-23 season, the Blue Valley Northwest graduate averaged 4.7 points and 2.4 rebounds across 76 contests as a rookie. He put the league on notice with a 15-point performance in Game 3 of the NBA Finals versus the Miami Heat, shooting 7-for-8 in his best professional outing yet.
Denver took home the title on Monday, and Braun was at the forefront of his team’s championship parade. He partook in spraying champagne, taking off his shirt, and sporting a WWE Championship belt.
Let’s take a look at some of CB’s funniest moments during the celebration.

Denver fans and teammates have gotten attached to his spirited personality in a hurry, although nobody will love him more than Kansas basketball fans.
Everyone knows Braun to be an animated player on and off the court, and he made one thing clear — he knows exactly how to get lit.
