Kansas football received four verbal commits during this past weekend’s official visit cycle, and nine visitors will make their way to Lawrence this week.
The Kansas Jayhawks are coming off one of their most successful football recruiting weekends in school history. They picked up commitments from 4-star CB Austin Alexander, 3-star OL Harrison Utley, 3-star RB Harry Stewart, and unranked LB Jacorey Stewart.
June is typically a big month for the recruiting cycle, but it’s unheard of for KU to have several significant names commit within just a few days. It goes to show how much of a difference head coach Lance Leipold is making for the university.
KU’s 2024 recruiting class now sits at No. 40 in the nation, which would be the program’s best in quite some time. However, as well as this past weekend’s visits went down, there are still 18 remaining in the month of June. Two begin today (June 14), six begin tomorrow (June 15), and one begins Friday (June 16).
