1. Texas Longhorns (Away) Sep. 30

2022 record: 8-5 (6-3)

Texas always has preseason hype, but this could be the Longhorns’ best team in quite some time. Head coach Steve Sarkisian is hungry for more in his third season as UT head coach, as is quarterback Quinn Ewers.

Some analysts believe they could be in the conversation for the College Football Playoff if their team pans out. Texas reeled in the No. 3 recruiting class in 2023, including the No. 1 prospect in the nation Arch Manning and three other 5-stars.

Given that this game is on the road, it’s hard to fathom a scenario where Kansas comes out on top unless the Longhorns miserably fail expectations. However, we’ve seen that occur multiple times in the past, so Jayhawk fans should not write this off as a loss just yet.
