2. Kansas State Wildcats (Home) Nov. 18

2022 record: 10-4 (7-2)

Kansas State could finish second or third in the Big 12 in 2023, and with the tension that comes with playing the Sunflower Showdown, this game could arguably come in at No. 1 on this list. However, the Jayhawks happen to be at home this year, which should bode well for them after a poor showing in Manhattan last season.

Electric 5-foot-5 running back Deuce Vaughn is off to the NFL, and so is the Wildcats’ sack and tackle-for-loss leader Felix Anudike-Uzomah. However, quarterback Will Howard is fun to watch and should take big strides in his senior season.

Any game against K-State will be tough, no matter the sport. Hopefully, Kansas can overcome the hump and defeat them for the first time since 2008, but it won’t be an easy task.
