Kansas football could be one of the top teams in the Big 12, but the path to get there won’t be easy. Which schools pose the biggest threat to the Jayhawks?

The Kansas Jayhawks football program was pretty, pretty bad for quite some time, but it certainly didn’t help that they played in a Power 5 conference. Each season, the Big 12 is among the best in college football.

KU is coming off its most successful season in 15 years, finishing the year with a 6-7 record and a gut-wrenching 55-53 overtime loss to Arkansas in the Liberty Bowl. Head coach Lance Leipold has made Kansas football competitive once again, and the future is even brighter.

Now that KU has a more than capable roster to work with, Jayhawks fans no longer have to view each game as an automatic loss. However, some games will still be more winnable than others — and these three will be the most difficult of the Kansas football season.
