This is the complete list of each former Kansas basketball player that has ever been selected in the NBA Draft, broken down by decade.

The Kansas Jayhawks are among the most renowned college basketball programs in the NCAA’s history. On top of winning six national championships, they have won more regular season conference titles than any other school.

KU has produced the fifth most players to have moved onto the next level, trailing only Kentucky, UCLA, Duke, and North Carolina, respectively. That number will continue to ascend, with Gradey Dick and Jalen Wilson expecting a call from an NBA team on June 22, 2023, the day of this year’s draft.

There have been 83 former Jayhawks to play in the NBA, but only 66 have been selected in the draft. We assembled a list broken down by decade to recap each Kansas basketball player who’s heard his name called on draft day. First up — the 1940s.
