Kansas football announced game times for Weeks 1 and 3. Find out when the Jayhawks will be playing during these contests.

It sounds closer than it actually is, but the Kansas Jayhawks play their next football game in less than three months. More information continues to be released regarding this season’s schedule.

Week 1 will come against Missouri State, an FCS school, at home. It is by far the easiest game on the schedule, and the coaching staff will get a feel for who is ready and who is not. That game will begin at 7:00 PM CT and can be watched on Big 12 Now, which is accessible via ESPN+. The Jayhawks will open up their season with a Thursday night game.

Kansas will play in Lawrence versus Illinois Week 2. However, game time for this outing has not yet been released. Information should be released within the coming weeks concerning when it will be played.

In Week 3, Kansas heads to Reno to face Nevada, and Jayhawk fans will need to stay up late to watch this one. The Big 12 announced that this game begins at 9:30 PM CT, meaning it will likely extend beyond midnight. It will be aired on the CBS Sports Network, which comes with most cable stations. Kansas football fans might need to down a few energy drinks to get through this one.

The slate of conference games was released months ago, but the Big 12 has not yet revealed what times these games will be played. That should be announced in the first few weeks of August.
