Zuby Ejiofor to St. John’s

Hunter Dickinson might be the best player who has ever gone through the transfer portal, so it’s no surprise that his commitment to Kansas led to Zuby Ejiofor deciding to go elsewhere. He likely won’t be a starter, but the opportunity for minutes will be there at his new school, St. John’s.

Joel Soriano is the Red Storm’s best player and will almost definitely be the starting center again this season, but it thins out a lot after him. Of the returning players who averaged more than 10 minutes per game, not a single one of them is taller than 6-foot-4. The only transfer they brought in that matches Ejiofor in height doesn’t have anywhere near the pedigree that he does. If playing time is what Ejiofor was looking for, he may very well have found it.
