Kyle Cuffe Jr. to Syracuse

After Nick Timberlake and Arterio Morris announced their commitments to KU, the news that Kyle Cuffe was transferring didn’t come as too much of a surprise. Those two, along with Dajuan Harris and three incoming freshmen, were more than Cuffe was willing to compete with. Instead, he heads to Syracuse to continue his college career.

The Orange lost two of their top three scorers from last season and will return just one starting guard from that team. They did bring in two other former four-star guards from the transfer portal, but that shouldn’t stop Cuffe from seeing playing time. He may not start, but he will get more time on the court than previously at Kansas.
