Aaron Miles — 9 steals

Aaron Miles is one of the more underappreciated Jayhawks that I can think of. The school’s all-time assist leader (and third in steals), Miles was arguably the linchpin of the early 2000s Jayhawk teams. He should even be a National Champion, but that’s a story for another day.

During his final college season, he had more games with multiple steals than he had games with no steals. Miles also had six or more assists in all but six of those games. In present-day terms, he compares well to Dajuan Harris (who is also severely underrated). The icing on top of his career cake is his nine-steal performance against Iowa State in 2003, which still stands as the school’s single-game record today.
