Tom Kivisto — 18 assists

If the name Tom Kivisto makes you question your KU fandom, don’t worry. As someone born in the 90s, I personally had no idea who he was before writing this article. If Mr. Kivisto happens to come across this article, I apologize in advance to you, sir. However (to my relief), it would appear as if he wasn’t even all that big of a deal in his time.

He was the sixth leading scorer on a KU team that would lose in the NCAA Tournament to UCLA during their reign of terror on college basketball. However, he can say that he still holds the KU record for most assists in a single game. In a win over Nebraska, Kivisto dished out a whopping 18 assists. It is by far the most outlier performance on this list. I promise you’ll know all of the names from here on out.
