2022-23 season statistics: 30 GP, 2.6 PPG, 1.8 RPG, 0.3 APG, 75.6% FG

Of all the news to come out since the season ended, Udeh’s decision to transfer hurt the worst. He could have become a fantastic player at Kansas if he stayed with the school. Udeh is athletic, makes hustle plays, and has tremendous defensive potential. Jayhawk fans will obviously trade Udeh for a year or two of Hunter Dickinson, but it doesn’t make losing him any less painful. He was supposed to be the team’s center of the future. What made it even worse was that he transferred on the day of the deadline, and it seemed as though he would stick around in Lawrence for another season. Udeh is the only player who remains uncommitted, though it is highly unlikely that he returns to Kansas.
