PG Bobby Pettiford (East Carolina)

2022-23 season statistics: 32 GP, 2.2 PPG, 1.2 RPG, 1.3 APG, 53.4% FG

Bobby had his flashes, but his playmaking ability was not at a high enough level to where we could ignore his offensive struggles. It’s hard for a player who was compared to Frank Mason III by his own head coach to surpass those expectations, and unfortunately, Pettiford never became the guy that some thought he could be. He headed home to East Carolina this offseason and should be one of the top guards in the AAC in the next few years if he taps into his potential.
