The rich get richer.
Kevin McCullar returns for another year. https://t.co/SITqyoWevv
Bill Self has to be the happiest man in the world to get another year of Dajuan Harris and Kevin McCullar’s defense. The Jayhawks are loaded on both sides of the ball. Preseason top-two confirmed.

Think about how big the last 3 offseasons have been for #KUbball. First they got Ochai back. Then it was J-Wil. And now Kevin McCullar. All 3 made the right decisions (at the time) & it worked out amazingly well for the first 2. No reason to think it won't for McCullar, as well.

A quote from the man himself:
"How about one more year Jayhawk nation? To be able to play in front of the best fans in the country; to play for the best coach in the nation, I truly believe we have the pieces to hang another banner in the Phog. Rock Chalk! Let’s do it!"
What Bill Self had to say about McCullar’s return:
"This is a big day for Kansas basketball. We’ve had a lot of good things happen through recruiting this offseason, but nothing that has transpired this offseason was bigger for KU basketball than having a seasoned veteran like Kevin McCullar return to our program…Kevin is not only a terrific player, but a terrific teammate. He fit in so well in year one and we’re excited about what he’ll do with our program from a leadership standpoint."
Let’s go @Kevin_McCullar !!!

Dajuan Harris, Nick Timberlake, Kevin McCullar, KJ Adams, Hunter Dickinson https://t.co/fuO1NOstw6
Another thing that’s major about McCullar coming back is chemistry. With so many new faces, #kubball will GREATLY benefit from having McCullar back in there with Dajuan and KJ. This is so big for KU https://t.co/jJpmKlvQ4I

Jayhawk fans are excited to see him back on the floor this season, and rightfully so. We are going to witness one of the most stacked Bill Self rosters of all time in 2023-24.
